Congratulations to Linda Wing who was one of three Winegard Exemplary Volunteer Award Winners

Our very own Linda Wing received one of the three Winegard Exemplary Volunteer Awards this year.   Linda was nominated for her outstanding contributions to a variety of youth groups. 

Three outstanding volunteers from the University of Guelph will receive 2015 William Winegard Exemplary Volunteer Involvement Awards today from the United Way of Guelph Wellington Dufferin and the Volunteer Centre of Guelph/Wellington.

Professor of Soil Science and Environmental Toxicology  Department of Soil Science University of Saskatchewan Saskatoon, Saskatchewan, Canada Assistant Professor (Contaminated Site Assessment and Remediation) Department of Soil Science, College of Agriculture and Bioresources, in partnership with the Toxicology Program, at the University of Saskatchewan invite applications for a tenure track position at the rank of assistant professor in the areas of contaminated site assessment, remediation and/or reclamation beginning July 1, 2015 or soon thereafter.

Winter Semester Food Drive, starts Monday, March 30th

As the semester wraps up, we would like to inform you that the Student FoodBank will be hosting our Winter Semester Food Drive, starting on Monday, March 30th and going until Friday, April 17th. Bins will be set up in the UC Courtyard and MacKinnon Lobby for those interested in supporting us.

We need at least 15 people to continue offering this program. This is a very good program, so please reply if you are at least interested.
 
You are welcome to attend the meeting April 2nd and decide then if you would like to join. The first official meeting will start April 9th.
