Morgan Jackson is one of the Winners of the NSERC-CRSNG Science Action contest

Congratulations to Morgan Jackson who was one of the Top 3 winners in the Science category.The public has voted, the judges’ scores have been tallied and the results are in. The 15 winners of NSERC’s Science, Action! video contest are revealed. NSERC would like to thank all of the students who submitted videos for this competition, and the members of the public who took the time to watch and share these great examples of science and engineering research.

2015 Summer Experience Program (SEP) Research Assistant (1 position)

The Summer Experience Program student will have the opportunity to be involved in a variety of field, laboratory and data work with Dr. John Lauzon's "Yield and Quality Response of Alfalfa and Canola to Sulphur Fertilizer" project, greenhouse trial and other projects. Some field research tasks include soil sampling, helping with plot set up and maintenance throughout the growing season, taking plant samples and harvesting plots.

Congratulations to Linda Wing who was one of three Winegard Exemplary Volunteer Award Winners

Our very own Linda Wing received one of the three Winegard Exemplary Volunteer Awards this year.   Linda was nominated for her outstanding contributions to a variety of youth groups. 

Three outstanding volunteers from the University of Guelph will receive 2015 William Winegard Exemplary Volunteer Involvement Awards today from the United Way of Guelph Wellington Dufferin and the Volunteer Centre of Guelph/Wellington.
