Congratulations to Dr. Sabrina Rondeau for winning the 2023 Proquest Distinguished Dissertation Award presented by the Canadian Association for Graduate Studies (CAGS). This prestigious award honours Canadian dissertations that make significant, and impactful contributions to their academic field.
Our own Dr. Stephen Marshall won the 2024 Dartmouth Medal for most outstanding reference work for his book "Hymenoptera: The Natural History & Diversity of Wasps, Bees & Ants" published by Firefly Books.
The International Joint Commission (IJC) appointed our own Dr. Susan Chiblow as the Canadian Commissioner.
The International Joint Commission was created by Canada and the United States and is guided by the Boundary Waters Treaty. The IJC recognizes that each country's action affects waterways along the border. The IJC recommends solutions to transboundary issues such as shared water use and improving water quality, when requested by national governments.
Congratulations to our own Dr. Cynthia Scott-Dupree for being recognized as "Fellow of the Society" by the Entomological Society of Ontario.
This award is to honour for her outstanding contributions to the advancement of the field of entomology in Ontario.
