The Department of Earth Sciences Western University is seeking a Research Technician. The Research Technician is responsible for maintaining equipment, performing Geographic Information System (GIS) tasks, ensuring laboratory health and safety requirements are met, and in training students in the use of various laboratory equipment.
Please join us at the Guelph Civic Museum on Tuesday, March 31, 2015, to recognize game-changing research in support of Ontario Research Week. Plants for food in space, the 3-D printing revolution and a 20-year family health community research program will be featured as part of a “Why Research Matters” panel discussion. The event, sponsored by the Office of Research, is meant to engage the public in understanding the value of research. Doors open at 6:30 p.m., with the program getting underway at 7 p.m. Free admission.
