Land Resource Specialist Assistant Position OMAFRA

Undergraduate Research Assistant needed for Fall

Dr. Warland is hiring a part-time (8-10 hours/week) undergraduate assistant for the F15 term.  The successful candidate will assist with laboratory testing and development of sensor networks, assist with field work in Elora and Toronto, and help with data processing.  Required qualifications are previous coursework in atmospheric science.  Preferred qualifications are meteorological or soils instrumentation experience (lab or field), a G class license, and computer programming experience.

Experts Gather to Discuss Bee Shortage @ UofG

Graduate Student Position available on the bioenergy potential of novel varieties of sugar corn being grown in Ontario

Dr. Brandon Gilroyed is seeking applicants for either an MSc or PhD position at the School of Environmental Sciences at the University of Guelph. The project will focus on the bioenergy potential of novel varieties of sugar corn being grown in Ontario. The study will be interdisciplinary in nature, ranging from basic agronomy of novel sugar corn varieties to determining optimal ensiling conditions and production of renewable energy in the form of biogas.
