As you have hopefully noticed, paper bags advertising the Guelph Community Food Drive have been circulating around campus. I wanted to provide you with a friendly reminder that we will be collecting donations until the afternoon of Monday, June 16th. All donations we collect will directly go to help stock the Student FoodBank on campus. Donations can be dropped off at the donation bin inside the UC, at the FoodBank, or we can even arrange to pick them up. Attached is a flyer advertising the Food Drive and outlining suggested items for donation.

We are seeking candidates for a post‐doctoral fellowship with research focus on improving nitrogen management tools for reduced environmental losses from corn production. Research activities will involve validation and testing of the PNM model using an extensive data set on nitrous oxide emissions and nitrate leaching from corn. The validated models will be used to assess greenhouse gas emission intensity of Ontario’s corn sector and to evaluate the provincewide impact of 4R mitigation practices on environmental N losses.
