We are seeking highly motivated and enthusiastic applicants to join our Hale Lab Research Group in the School of Environmental Sciences at the University of Guelph.
We are seeking candidates for a post-doctoral fellowship with a focus on scaling up large datasets on soil processes and greenhouse gas emissions to identify climate-smart soil management practices. Research will involve the use of data from long-term micrometeorological CO2 and N2O flux and soil weighing lysimeter experiments designed to identify practices that reduce net greenhouse gas emissions, while also minimizing other environmental impacts. These data will be used to calibrate and validate biogeochemical models (e.g.

Kyra is a PhD candidate at the Department of Plant Agriculture supervised by Profs. Ralph Martin and Rene Van Acker and co-supervised by our own Prof. Nigel Raine from the School of Environmental Sciences.
