Student Innovation Guelph Showcase

The Department of Food Science is hosting an open-house style event for students to showcase their product/innovation ideas for the food sector. All are invited to attend to view the student ideas through a poster presentation. The event is being organized as part of the FOOD*4260 and FOOD*4270 - Food Development courses, but is open to all University of Guelph students. This event will happen in conjunction with the Project Soy Open House .

Dr Denina Simmons Environment Canada Shotgun proteomics and protein profiling: applications in aquatic toxicology.  Denina Simmons is a Post-doctoral Fellow at Environment Canada in Burlington and she will be giving the IB Departmental Seminar on March 17th. Denina has an exciting research program involving modern proteomics techniques in ecotoxicology of fish species. The School of Engineering is hosting the Winegard Visiting Lectureship on Tuesday, March 17 at 5:00PM in the Thornbrough Atrium.  We are delighted to announce that Dr. Stephen Forrest, Departments of Electrical Engineering and Computer Science, Physics, and Materials Science and Engineering, University of Michigan, will be our 2015 Guest Lecturer.  Dr. Forrest will be giving a talk titled "Making small things big in the world of organic electronics".
