Plants for food in space, the 3-D printing revolution and a 20-year family health community research program will be featured as part of a “Why Research Matters” panel discussion. The event, sponsored by the Office of Research, is meant to engage the public in understanding the value of research. Doors open at 6:30 p.m., with the program getting underway at 7 p.m. Free admission.
