Textbooks for Change boxes

Textbooks for Change boxes will be located in the Bovey Building Greenhouse Cafe and Alexandra Hall Lobby.  Textbooks for Charge are a  social enterprise that collects used textbooks and redistributes them to those in need around the world. About half of the textbooks they collect are sent to post-secondary institutions in Africa who are in dire need of this quality educational material. The other portion will either be recycled efficiently, or sold online at an affordable price to students across North America.

Interested in part-time work at The Arboretum this semester?

The Arboretum has an opening for a Conservation Horticulture Assistant Overview: The Conservation Horticulture Assistant will work closely with Arboretum staff in all aspects of the maintenance of woody plant collections, with a focus on conservation collections and related programs at The Arboretum. The successful; candidate will practice horticultural and botanical techniques in an Arboretum setting, develop skills in plant identification and care of a wide range of species, and learn about regional and global conservation programs , all while working in an active group environment.

Open House profiling SEDRD Grad programs

The School of Environmental Design and Rural Development will host a graduate program Information night on Feb. 11, from 5:30-7:00 p.m. in the Landscape Architecture Building.
