SES Guest Seminar - Dr. Sarah Crawford

Dr. Sarah Crawford, a University of Guelph Alumnus, from the Department of Evolutionary Ecology and Environmental Toxicology, Institute for Ecology, Evolution and Diversity, Faculty of Biological Science, Goethe University Frankfurt am Main will give a presentation on "Evolutionary Toxicology: Using daphnia from the past to understand future impacts of environmental stressors". 

Ontario Pest Mangement Conference 2019

This year the Ontario Pest Management Conference (OPMC) will be held on Tuesday, November 5, 2019 at the Victoria Park East Golf Course, Guelph, ON. Research presented at the OPMC will focus on all aspects of pest management associated with plant, animal and human health. More information on the 2019 OPMC can be found at www.opmconference.ca   Abstract submission period: Thursday, August 1 to Friday, September 13, 2019 4pm. Submissions to be sent to roselyne.labbe@canada.ca.

Soils at Guelph - Open House

Soils at Guelph is an initiative by the School of Environmental Sciences to promote sustainable soil management by bridging the gap between farmers, researchers and the general public in Ontario. The Open House starts at 2pm on September 19, 2019 at the Summerlee Science Complex Atrium at the University of Guelph. It is followed by a tour of the Soil Health Interpretive Centre from 3:30pm - 6pm. There is a complimentary shuttle service.
