Funding

All MSc and PhD full-time students will receive funding while registered full-time in their eligible semesters which is 6 semesters for MSc and 12 semesters for PhD with satisfactory progress in each semester. Funding beyond these semesters is not guaranteed and at the discretion of the research advisor. We do not promise funding to the students in the MES program, nor part-time students in the MSc and PhD programs. The following chart shows the Guaranteed Minimum Yearly funding in the School of Environmental Sciences (SES). Note that students with excellent academic records may be nominated for additional internal scholarships and that students are encouraged to apply for external or internal scholarships. For more information on scholarships, please consult the graduate studies Scholarships and Awards website. You may also use the Graduate Award Search Tool for internal University of Guelph awards.
