Tenure Track Assistant Professor position in Food Processing - Food Science, University of Guelph

The Department of Food Science, Ontario Agricultural College, University of Guelph is seeking applicants for a tenure track faculty position at the rank of Assistant Professor, in food processing. Teaching is an important component of the position. The incumbent will be expected to teach Food Processing and Food Engineering courses annually to undergraduate students in the B.Sc. Food Science major, and will also be expected to teach more specialized graduate courses, but less frequently.  The development of a high­ calibre research program is also expected . The research interests of the incumbent should  align with major research themes of the department, and overlap wit h interests such as physical chemistry and structure of foods, commodity -processing, or extraction of ingredients, to name a few. Full pilot-plant facilities and wet-bench laboratory space are available.
