SPECIAL SEMINAR: Faculty Information Exchange 2013-14

Getting Better at Knowledge Mobilization: The Continuum of Stakeholder Engagement
Led by Drs Anne Bergen and Bronwynne Wilton

This workshop will review key terms and concepts related to knowledge mobilization (KMb) and how you can create a comprehensive KMb strategy for your own research project(s).

This workshop will include:

  • an overview of the link between knowledge mobilization and community engaged scholarship.
  • Examples of a variety of tools to support stakeholder engagement in knowledge mobilization
  • Examples and strategies for KMb that are applicable to a broad range of disciplines within both the natural and social sciences.

Participants will have the opportunity to use a hands-on example to create a comprehensive KMb strategy – if possible, participants should bring a one-page summary of a current or new research project.
