The Advances in Stable Isotope Techniques and Applications (ASITA) conference
The Advances in Stable Isotope Techniques and Applications (ASITA) conference will take place in sunny Davis, California from June 15 to 18, 2014. The meeting focuses on methodology advancements, technical challenges, and novel applications of isotope analyses. This workshop has a reputation of being a lighthearted forum for discussing and solving technical challenges. Group rates for partner hotels are available through May 23rd. Please note, to take advantage of the group hotel rates, you must call your preferred hotel and give the group code specified on the conference website (http://stableisotopefacility.ucdavis.edu/ASITAlodging.html). Dorm-style accommodations are not available. For those staying in Sacramento on Saturday night, a shuttle to Davis will be arranged for Sunday morning. If you are interested, please contact us so that pickup points can be arranged.
ASITA will be the week following Goldschmidt (June 8-13th) and Davis is just 20 minutes west of Sacramento, CA. For those attending Goldschmidt, consider minimizing travel costs and enjoying a weekend in northern California. Davis is conveniently located central to numerous attractions including San Francisco, Napa, and Lake Tahoe.
