Research Assistant Opportunity

Our new faculty member Prof. Jess Popp is looking for an upper-year undergraduate student or a graduate of a Bachelor of Science Program in biology, environmental science or a related field.

The Research Assistant will:

  • Engage in research that embraces multiple ways of knowing

  • Work in partnership with Environment and Climate Change Canada

  • Organize meetings and take minutes

  • Perform literature reviews

  • Write a final report

Qualified Candidates will:

  • Be upper students or graduates of a Bachelor of Science program in Biology, Environmental Science, or a related field

  • Be in good academic standing

  • Have excellent communication skills

  • A desire to learn about Indigenous environmental science

Anticipated Term Date: November 2, 2020 to March 26, 2020

Hours: 12 hours per week

Location: Position based in the WISE Lab at the University of Guelph, but working remotely while Covid-19 restrictions are in place
