Canadian Ecotoxicology Workshop in Guelph

The upcoming Canadian Ecotoxicology Workshop in Guelph, Ontario has a range of professional development courses that is sure to be of interest to many of you.  All courses take place on Sunday, October 1st, and even if you are unable to attend the entire meeting, you can still sign up just for a short course at special student rates.  It’s a great opportunity to learn and mingle with professionals from academica, government, and industry. Early bird pricing ends August 25th, and space is limited, so register soon! The courses this year are:

1. What is the strength and relevance of your ecotoxicology?  Better studies, better papers, better science (FULL DAY)

2. Dose-Response Modelling and Mixture Toxicity Assessment using Rstudio (HALF DAY)

3. Designing Adaptive Monitoring Programs (HALF DAY)

4. Using the Results of Environmental and Human Health Risk Assessments to Guide Decisions during the Life Cycle of Energy and Non-Energy Developments or “What the heck do Hazard and Risk Quotients Mean?” (HALF DAY)
