The Morwick G360 Groundwater Research Institute invites everyone for an afternoon of presentations about the preservation of glaciers for World Water Day 2025.

Talks: 

  • "Glaciers, Geology and Groundwater" by our own Dr. Emmanuelle Arnaud
  • "Talkin' Taliks: Exploring the Link Between Permafrost and Groundwater with Airborne and Surface Geophysics" by Oliver Conway-White, PhD student, University of Waterloo
  • "Left Out in The Cold: The Microbial Ecology of Cryophilic Life" by our own Dr. Jackie Goordial
  • "Monitoring the Melt: Satellite Technology for Tracking Changes in Northern Surface Water" by Dr. Aaron Berg, Guelph Geography, University of Guelph.
