World Water Day Talks by Morwick G360 Groundwater Research Institute

The Morwick G360 Groundwater Research Institute invites everyone for an afternoon of presentations about the preservation of glaciers for World Water Day 2025.

Talks: 

  • "Glaciers, Geology and Groundwater" by our own Dr. Emmanuelle Arnaud
  • "Talkin' Taliks: Exploring the Link Between Permafrost and Groundwater with Airborne and Surface Geophysics" by Oliver Conway-White, PhD student, University of Waterloo
  • "Left Out in The Cold: The Microbial Ecology of Cryophilic Life" by our own Dr. Jackie Goordial
  • "Monitoring the Melt: Satellite Technology for Tracking Changes in Northern Surface Water" by Dr. Aaron Berg, Guelph Geography, University of Guelph.

Morwick G360 Groundwater Research Institute [1] is a focal point for groundwater research collaborations between Academics, Governments, and Industries around the world.
