Environmental Geology

Studies in environmental geology are diverse in fundamental and applied aspects of physical, biological and chemical processes that occur at the Earth’s surface. Research is conducted not only at our field-based sites around the world, but also in our outstanding analytical facilities at the School of Environmental Sciences. Research includes understanding the sedimentary record of environmental change; bacterial and mineral interactions; biogeochemical cycles; hydrology; geomorphology; and environmental contamination.
