The School of Environmental Sciences is proud to share that Dr. Paul Sibley has been awarded the Anderson-Everett Award by the International Association for Great Lakes Research (IAGLR).

The Anderson-Everett Award recognizes significant contributions to the Association over several years. The award honors the efforts of David Anderson and Margaret Everett for their significant early contributions to the association and the Great Lakes. The IAGLR says in their announcement “Sibley’s generosity with his time, his humility, and his deep institutional knowledge have made him a trusted and respected voice across the board and committees for many years”.

Congratulations, Dr. Sibley, on this well-deserved recognition!

The University of Guelph’s SES distinguishes itself from other environmental science programs in that it comprises a true integration of the life and physical sciences to address important environmental problems in forest, aquatic and agro-ecosystems.
In addition to our unique research capabilities, the SES is committed to providing a learner-centered environmental science education to undergraduate and graduate students – one that is second to none in North America.
