  • Dr. Mike Dixon, professor emeritus spoke to The Logic [1] about the possibility about growing food on the moon.
  • Dr. Scott Krayenhoff was interviewed by CBCNews [2] to explain why cities heat up more than surrounding areas during heat waves and to share strategies to keep them cooler.

The University of Guelph’s SES distinguishes itself from other environmental science programs in that it comprises a true integration of the life and physical sciences to address important environmental problems in forest, aquatic and agro-ecosystems.
In addition to our unique research capabilities, the SES is committed to providing a learner-centered environmental science education to undergraduate and graduate students – one that is second to none in North America.
