It is with great sadness that we share the passing of Professor Emeritus Pieter Groenevelt (August 8th, 1937 - February 10th, 2023). Dr. Groenevelt was a highly valued member of the School of Environmental Sciences for decades. He retired in 2002 but continued to work and conduct research until his passing. Our thoughts are with his family during this difficult time. He will be greatly missed by all.
