The primary project for this person is very applied, industrial, and societally relevant. However, there is also opportunity to collaborate with technicians and graduate students in the group working on polar soil carbon research initiatives (Arctic/Antarctic). Please see attached job advert for a position in trace gas fluxes / micrometeorology at StFX.http://fluxlab.stfx.ca/wp-content/uploads/2016/06/FluxLab_StFX_Transport_JobAdvert_June8_2016.pdf [1]

The University of Guelph’s SES distinguishes itself from other environmental science programs in that it comprises a true integration of the life and physical sciences to address important environmental problems in forest, aquatic and agro-ecosystems.
In addition to our unique research capabilities, the SES is committed to providing a learner-centered environmental science education to undergraduate and graduate students – one that is second to none in North America.
