Student Leaders Interacting and Collaborating Conference (SLIC)

Submitted by jscarrow on May 12th, 2015 8:56 AM

Exciting upcoming opportunity for student leaders on our campus i.e. the annual Student Leaders Interacting and Collaborating Conference (SLIC).

“SLIC is a great chance for students to network with peer leaders at Guelph, and attend concurrent sessions on topics like self-care and wellness, conflict management etc. You will also have specific times to participate in team building activities and goal setting for the year ahead. And you can experience all this while having a great time at camp- that's right, we go to camp!

This year, SLIC will take place at Belwood Lodge and Camp from June 5-7 . The cost of the conference is $125, payable by cash, cheque or organizational coding. This includes your transportation (via bus) from the University of Guelph to and from the site; your accommodation; all meals and snacks; and access to all sessions.

For additional information and the schedule outline, click here:https://gryphlife.uoguelph.ca/organization/LeadershipOffice/calendar/details/30988 [1]

The registration deadline is May 29, 2015 . It’s approaching fast so SIGN UP right away at https://gryphlife.uoguelph.ca/account/logonrequired?ReturnUrl=%2Fform%2Fstart%2F2569 [2]

The cost of the conference is pre-subsidised but if you need additional financial assistance, we encourage you to check out the SLEF Access Fund. Funds up to $50.00 per event can be used for admission by UofG students with demonstrated financial need. This fund is available by bringing your student card to the Information Desk located in the University Centre.”
