Submitted by sessupport on April 9th, 2015 2:07 PM

AA&D launched a new Alumni Travel Program in 2014 which has had good uptake so far. The trips we offer in this program are exclusive trips to unique destinations with an educational component targeted to alumni.Visit our website for the most current information:

It was brought to our attention that other universities are offering service trips to their alumni where alumni of all ages can come together as a group and work side by side on a project. We did some research and found out about SchoolBOX.ca which was founded by Guelph alumnus, Tom Affleck, and thought this would be something that would be of interest to UG alumni. We didn't want to limit it to alumni, so it is open to alumni, donors, faculty, staff, retirees and friends.

The trip we have signed up for is November 12-21, 2015 to help build a school in Nicaragua.

Details will be available at this info session from a representative who recently returned from Nicaragua.
