Submitted by jscarrow on March 9th, 2015 9:10 AM

Welcome to the Changing Climate, Changing Communities Conference - March 21, 2015.

Daytime activities include three sessions of environmental themed workshops, tours and exhibits. These target the issue of climate change from a local perspective to a global level. The conference aims to achieve global results through individual actions.

Sheila Watt-Cloutier is confirmed as our keynote speaker in the evening, delivering a speech shortly after a delicious dinner. Visit our keynote speaker bio page for more information on Ms. Watt-Cloutier.

After the speech, an expert panel will be assembled to discuss climate themed topics. Following the expert panel, we would like to extend an invitation to the Auk's Lodge, our on-campus pub for reflection of the day's events.

Please visit our registration [1] page if interested in attending the conference!

The University of Guelph’s SES distinguishes itself from other environmental science programs in that it comprises a true integration of the life and physical sciences to address important environmental problems in forest, aquatic and agro-ecosystems.
In addition to our unique research capabilities, the SES is committed to providing a learner-centered environmental science education to undergraduate and graduate students – one that is second to none in North America.
