(Centre for Toxicology) Good Laboratory Practice (GLP) Training Course

Jim Bestari (Centre for Toxicology) will be offering a Good Laboratory Practice (GLP) Training Course schedules to begin February 23, 2015.  Course outline attached.

The GLP lectures will be Monday and Wednesday evenings in February 23, 25, March 2, 4, 9, 11, and 16, 2015   5:30 to 8:00/8:30 p.m.
Tiessen Room 1118, Bovey Building
7 Lectures in total (2.5 - 3 hours each)
This will be a GLP (Good Laboratory Practice) training course with quizzes and evaluations.  There will be a Quality Assurance guest lecture - TBA (on the day of lecture 5 or 6).  A nominal fee of $480 per participant or student will be charged.  It is expected that the graduate student's advisor will absorb this cost.  The fee is to be paid before the class begins.
The course will not generate academic credit but a "RECORD of TRAINING" certificate (GLP training) will be issued to all students who successfully complete the course and this can be added to your resume.  Attendance at ALL LECTURES IS MANDATORY to be issued a certificate.  Please note that if there are less than 8 participants, the course may be canceled.
