Gourmet mushrooms for sale

Submitted by wbsadmin on May 21st, 2014 11:28 AM

Budding entrepreneurs and BScAgr students Delaney Bray-Stone and

Michael Cordon have mushrooms for sale!

They currently have an early harvest of Elm Oyster (Pleurotus) Hypsizygus ulmarius, mushrooms available for $10.00/lb, and will have an increasingly wide selection of gourmet species for sale throughout the summer and fall, ranging in price from $5-15/lb. Their tasty mushrooms are grown on coffee grounds from cafes on campus and locally sourced wheat straw. These young farmers would be greatly appreciative of your business!

If you are interested in their products or have any questions, please contact them at dbraysto@uoguelph.ca [1].

The University of Guelph’s SES distinguishes itself from other environmental science programs in that it comprises a true integration of the life and physical sciences to address important environmental problems in forest, aquatic and agro-ecosystems.
In addition to our unique research capabilities, the SES is committed to providing a learner-centered environmental science education to undergraduate and graduate students – one that is second to none in North America.
